Pet of the Week: Meet 'Amos'

Amos is currently available for adoption at the Medfield Animal Shelter.

The Medfield Animal Shelter describes Amos as "a very friendly, loving and playful kitty available for adoption."

He looks like a Maine Coon mix, according to Kim Agricola of the shelter, but with a shorter coat and is "quite handsome." Agricola says he loves catnip toys, hanging out on a cat tree while watching the birds at the feeder outside the window and lots of attention.

"He runs to greet us at the door and just loves being around people and being held and cuddled," Agricola said. "He can be a bit of a bully with cats that aren't willing to stand up to him, so he either needs to be an only cat, or needs to be in a home with a cat that won't let Amos be too pushy. He is in a room with other kitties willing to stand their ground and they all get along fine."
