UPDATED: Medfield High School's Swim Team Has Raised Nearly $2K for the Jimmy Fund

You can donate to the MHS swim team's cause until Feb. 15.

The Medfield High School boys' and girls' varsity swim team held its fundraising relay swim-a-thon Wednesday in Franklin.

"The Medfield High School swim team dedicated their practice time to raising money for cancer research and treatment," said Medfield head coach Sara Callahan.

The team ran practice in a relay format, according to Callahan, and had athletes swimming continuously to represent solidarity and team-wide efforts toward raising awareness of cancer.

"In addition to our dedicating this practice time, the team has also
created a website to use to make donations to the Dana Farber Cancer
Institute on behalf of our team, family, and friends in honor of team
captain Conor Davis' mother and others we know who have battled or are
battling cancer," Callahan said.

To contribute to the MHS swim team's cause, you can give a donation on its website until Feb. 15 by clicking here.

"Tax-deductable donations of any amount are greatly appreciated," said Callahan.
