Countdown: Three Days Until Medfield Green Day

Medfield Green is offering residents a chance to do some spring-cleaning and be green by recycling unwanted and used materials. This year's Medfield Green Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at the American Legion Hall.

Medfield’s biggest recycling day of the year is now four days away and Medfield Patch is helping you prepare for the annual event by highlighting different items you can donate.

Today, we are focusing on bikes and pet supplies that can be donated and recycled at this year's Medfield Green Day, sponsored by The Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization (MEMO).

Bikes: Bicycles of all sizes can be donated. The organization, Bikes Not Bombs, will refurbish them and pass them on to people in need. A $10 donation to make repairs is appreciated. For more information,
