Bob Luttman Selected as Medfield Foundation's Volunteer of the Year

Luttman's work and volunteerism in the Medfield community will be recognized at the Medfield Foundation's March 27 event.

Medfield resident, Bob Luttman, seemingly volunteers everywhere for everything in town, reflecting a man with a passion and a great love for his community.

Luttman has raised the awareness of all the activities that Medfield has to offer, as well as special opportunities to serve, through his Monday Morning Medfield News e-mail updates and website. Luttman further encourages civic involvement through getting the word out to vote during town, state, and national elections.

He has been instrumental in bringing about a chain reaction of volunteerism in the community through Community Connections Cafe and other endeavors. Luttman has been both vocal and instrumental in keeping Medfield's musical history preserved through efforts to save Lowell Mason’s house. He serves on the library trustees board, the town’s technology study committee, Medfield Youth and Community Collaborative, and has been recently seen at Medfield Cares About Prevention.

Luttman was one of the founding directors of the Medfield Foundation.

“When one arrives at a meeting and sees Bob is there, one knows one has a friend at the table," the suggestion to recognize Bob Luttman as Medfield Foundation's 2011 Volunteer of the Year read. "It seems that Bob is always an advocate on the best side of the issues to benefit the town. Although, Mr. Medfield might be more appropriate, Volunteer of the Year sounds pretty good too.”
