Medfield U10 Summer Baseball Team Played Hard in Reilly Tournament

Congratulations to Medfield’s 10-year-old summer baseball team that advanced all the way to the championship game in Westwood’s Reilly Tournament last weekend. 

After losing their opener 12-0 to Walpole American, the team members lifted their chins to beat Canton 9-6, and followed it up with a seven inning upset of the same Walpole American team on Sunday morning. 

Playing almost immediately thereafter, Medfield ran out of gas and fell to Westwood in the championship game 14-6. 

Coach David Bugajski said, “I am very proud of the character and determination that my team demonstrated, and I look forward to the season ahead.”

Team members include: James Anderson, Drew Baacke, Andrew Bugajski, Russell Campbell, Nick Chicos , Jimmy Cosolito, Colby Gonser, Max Goodman, Cam Guinta, Matt Leonard, Luigi Musto, and Danny O’Connor.
