Medfield Marlins Win Second Place in South Suburban Swim League

The Medfield Marlins won second place in the B Regionals last weekend and will swim in the A Regionals on Saturday. The meet starts at 6 a.m. in Newton.

 

The Medfield Marlins swim team will swim their last regular season meet tonight.

The meet will take place in Westwood at 5 p.m.

On Saturday, the Marlins brought home the second place trophy at the B Regionals in the South Suburban Swim League which includes 12 teams. 

The team will finish the season on August 11 in Newton at the A Regionals.

“The team has been working hard and doing well,” said Sarah Brown, whose daughter Isabella is on the team.  

Team members include Colin Benson, Mary Katherine Benson, Stephanie Borgstein, Owen Brand,  Isabella Brown, Hannah Carnes, Sam Carnes, Melissa Cox, Shannon Davis, Carter DePiero, Connor DePiero, Will DePiero, Alexander Fedak, Diana Fedak, JJ Fedak, Wesley Fedak, Julianne Hawley, Michael Hawley, Dylan Heaney, Kylie Herbstzuber, Nora Herbstzuber, Dylan Hogan, Alix Kramer, Sara Lako, Maddie Marcucci, Theresa Marcucci, Will Maritan, Bridget McMahon, Lauren McMahon, Caroline Mills, Catie O’Connell, Grace O’Connell, Zach O’Connell, Aidan Redding, Liam Redding, Alison Smith, Kira Stonkevitch, Katya Stonkevitch, and Meghan Sullivan.

Coaches are Karen O'Connell and Michelle Pound.
