Football Academy Awards Given

The week-long camp teaches football skills.

The following information was provided by Warriors Football Coach Erik Ormberg.

Last week, Medfield High School held its annual Junior Warrior Football Academy

The academy is held each year for boys and girls ages 10 to 14 years old.

Approximately 35 participants attended the program run by Medfield High School's head football coach Erik Ormberg, Medfield alumni and defensive coordinator Brian Gavaghan, and fellow alumni and line coach Kevin Gavaghan, and members of the MHS football team. 

The following awards were handed out on the end of camp:  
  • Camper of the Week: Eric Ledogar
  • Spirit Award: Jack Goodman
  • Leadership Award: Liam O'Toole
  • Hard Work Award: Cameron Guinta
  • Most Improved Award: Ben Leonard
  • Counselor of the Week: Nick Fragola
The academy is held one week each summer, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon.
