Countdown to MHS Multi-Class Reunion Weekend

The MHSAA will be hosting a multi-class reunion this weekend. Events start on Thursday with "A Salute to Medfield High School," a special exhibit at the Medfield Historical Society.

The Medfield High School Alumni Association will host its multi-year reunion weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for all MHS classes from 1936 to 2012.

Events include a dedication concert on Friday, a social on Saturday, and a picnic on Sunday.  Tickets to all events can be purchased at the door.

Alumni are invited to start the reunion weekend on Thursday by stopping by the Medfield Historical Society to view high school memorabilia (like that shown in the attached photos).

The events include:

  • On Thursday, August 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Medfield Historical Society, 6 Pleasant Street, will feature a “Salute to Medfield High School” which will include a display of Medfield High School yearbooks going back to the first “Peak” published in 1925. Pictures of Medfield High School classes going back to 1870 (the year MHS was founded) will be displayed, along with sports paraphernalia such as team uniforms, team jackets, trophies, etc.
  • On Friday, August 3 at 7 p.m., Robert D. Hersee Dedication Concert will take place at the Thomas A. Blake Middle School Auditorium (formerly Medfield Junior-Senior High School). Paul DeLuca '78 is organizing a two-hour musical revue made up of MHS alumni, including many members of the current MHS Band and Jazz Band. The event will feature the unveiling of a permanent plaque honoring the long time Music teacher and icon, Bob Hersee. This event is also open to the public (cost $15).
  • On Saturday, August 4 at 7 p.m., MHSAA All Classes Reunion will be held at the American Legion Hall, 1 Peter Kristof Way, Medfield. Note: donations will be accepted of non-perishable foods and canned goods for the Medfield Food Pantry. (Cost $30)
