VIDEO: Field Hockey: Ashland Spoils Medfield's Senior Night

Medfield lost to Ashland 1-0 on Senior Night on the MHS Turf Wednesday.

On a night all about the 12 seniors on the Medfield High School field hockey team, it was an Ashland senior who stole the show Wednesday night at Medfield's Calvin George Fisher Memorial Field.

The Clockers' Bri Maher scored the game's lone goal with 25:59 remaining in the second half to give Ashland a 1-0 victory over Tri-Valley League host Medfield – spoiling the Warriors' Senior Night.

Medfield (12-4-1, 10-3-1) had the advantage in shots and opportunities, including several penalty corners. The Warriors put a flurry of chances together in the last possession of the game, including a penalty corner after time expired, but never found the back of the cage.
