VIDEO: DeSorgher Recalls 16 Years as Medfield Football Announcer
Richard DeSorgher called his final game as the announcer of the Medfield High School football team on Sept. 9.
After 16 years as the voice of the Medfield High School football team and attending every home game since 1978, Richard DeSorgher is putting down the microphone and walking away from the press box. DeSorgher retired after 35 years of teaching in Medfield this past June and said when he retired from teaching, he would retire from announcing.
