TVL Lax Powers Medfield, D-S Clash Friday in Dover

Friday's boys' lacrosse game between Medfield and Dover-Sherborn is a battle of TVL unbeatens. Face-off is 6:30 p.m. at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School.

Medfield and Dover-Sherborn renew their rivalry on the lacrosse field Friday evening in Dover as the boys’ lacrosse programs play for sole possession of first place in the Tri-Valley League.

Both teams enter Friday’s game with perfect TVL records and are the only two teams to win the TVL in the league's 10-year history. D-S is currently 6-0 in the league and 9-2 overall while Medfield is 5-0 in the league and 7-1 overall.

Adding to the excitement of Friday's TVL showdown is this will be the first time these teams take the field against one another since.

That win snapped Medfield’s run of nine straight TVL titles as the Raiders became the only team other than the Warriors to win the league since its inception in 2001.
