Trio of Medfield Girls' Hockey Players Named to All-Star Game
The Southeastern Massachusetts Girls Hockey League All-Star game will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at Gallo Arena in Bourne.
The Medfield High School girls' hockey team will be well represented in this year's Southeastern Massachusetts Girls Hockey League All-Star, which will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Gallo Arena in Bourne.
Seniors Jeanette Barone and Allie Ockerbloom and junior goaltender and tri-captain Mimi Borkan are 2011-2012 SEMGHL all-stars representing Medfield. The game begins at 5:30 p.m.
"We are lucky to have three all-stars this year," said Medfield head coach Molly Norton.

The Warriors, with a 10-5-5, 5-4-3 record qualified for the MIAA Division 2 State Tournament for the second consecutive year. Pairings and seedings for the tournament will be announced Saturday, Feb. 25 by the MIAA. Check back at Medfield Patch to find out when Medfield opens tourney play.
"The girls are very excited and I feel that this year will be a good year for us," said Norton.
