Medfield Youth Fall Baseball Teams Ready for Sunday's Championship Day
Medfield's Youth Baseball League will host its Fall Championship Day at Metacomet Park on Sunday, Oct. 2 with three championship games and a skill competition.
The Medfield Youth Baseball League will conclude its fall season on Sunday, Oct. 2 with its Championship Day.
The event will be held at Metacomet Park and begins at 9 a.m. with the first of three championship games scheduled for the day. There will also be a skills competition.
- 9 a.m. - Third Grade Championship Game
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - First and Second Grade Skill Challenge
- 1 to 3 p.m. - Fourth and Fifth Grade Championship Game
- 3 to 5 p.m. - Sixth and Seventh Grade Championship Game
On Sept. 24, Matt leaonard and Steven Williams of Medfield's fourth and fifth grade "Green Team" readied themselves to fire against Sharon (see photos above). Sharon edged Medfield in a close battle, 6-5.
