Medfield Girls' Tennis Seeded Sixth in D2 South Tourney
Medfield opens its MIAA Division 2 South Sectional state tournament play at home Friday, June 1 against Sandwich at 3 p.m. in the first round.
Medfield finished the regular season with a 16-2 record, good enough for the sixth seed out of 17 teams in this year's MIAA Division 2 South Sectional bracket.
The Warriors, who shared the Tri-Valley League title this season with Hopkinton, will host Sandwich Friday for a 3 p.m., first round game.
