Medfield Big Blue Basketball Season Opens Friday Night
The season opener is against Norton at MHS on Friday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

Friday Night will mark the opening night of the 2013-14 Medfield Boy's Big Blue Basketball season.
The team will open up at home vs. two-time defending champ Norton. Tip off is at 6:30 p.m.
Last year's team finished 13-8 and was tied for 2nd place in the Tri-Valley League.
This years team will be lead by co-captains, Bobby O'Reilly and Matt Cahill. Bobby will start at the power forward position and Matt will be the team's starting point guard.
Leading scorer Drew Shea is returning for his senior season. Drew has been a starter for all four of his high school years.
Seniors Jake Karger and Brian Hunter should get big minutes and provide the team with some consistent outside shooting.
Juniors Sean Conroy, Nick Collotta, David Fitzgerald, Sam Hurley, and Matty Patry will add depth to the team. Sean has been one of the best shooters on the team so far this pre-season.
Seniors Chris Hill and Brian Bissell will come off the bench and provide the team with some depth up front.
Jack Madej is the lone sophomore on the team this year. He will also be a key contributor at the forward position.
