Run Your First 5K for Women!
This program is for the non-runner or beginning runner who would like to either run their very first 5K (3.1 miles)or their first 5K in recent years. The group will meet twice per week over a 6 week period progressively building toward running the Medfield Day 5K road race on Sept. 15 (Sept. 22 is the scheduled rain date).
The early weeks will be a combination of running, walking and stretching. As the weeks pass, the length of running time will increase based on comfort level and ability. Speed intervals may be added in the final weeks to get those legs
firing!
Dates: August 7 to Sept. 13 (6 weeks; 12 classes)
