MYBS Parade and Season Opening Ceremonies

MYBS Parade, opener scheduled for May 1

Opening day for Medfield Youth Baseball/Softball will be held on Sunday, May 1. Individual and team photos will be taken in the morning at the Memorial School field followed by the parade and opening ceremonies. Coaches will inform players of their scheduled photo time. All baseball and softball teams should report to the Memorial School parking lot no later than 11:45 am. The parade will begin at noon from the Memorial School parking lot and end at the Metacomet Park Baseball Field.

Immediately following the parade, all teams will march onto Metacomet Field for the Opening Day ceremonies. Hot dogs, beverages, hats and shirts will be available for purchase. A Major League game will complete the days events. In the event of inclement weather, please check the web site at
