The Medfield Library will hold a Poi Fire Spinning Workshop with Negative Q for teens today at 4 p.m.
Poi is a traditional Maori performance art using balls on cords which are spun in entrancing patterns. Negative Q is a Boston-based performer who uses fire, LEDs, or fabrics to enhance the effect of the performance. Learn the basic techniques and how to make your own poi with knee socks.
