About the Water Project: Clean water does more than quench thirst. Water is also necessary for personal hygiene, food preparation, and other daily activities. An astounding number of diseases are directly related to the quality of water available in your community. Communal wells promote enriched educational opportunities in impoverished villages by eliminating time wasted walking to and from other sources of clean water, reducing the chance of a sick adult needing his child to work the fields, and ensuring the youth stay healthy and physically able to learn. Help us raise $4,000 to fund the building of a new well!
