Work Begins on New Montrose School Arts & Athletics Center

Construction began this week on a new Arts & Athletics Center at the Montrose School in Medfield, with the school posting updates to its Facebook page Tuesday. 

The new center is meant to serve the school community and house growing popular core theater, music ands ports programs, according to the school's project website. 

The building will hold seating capacity for more than 450 attendees and will feature balcony seating, with additional seating and light control, as well as a stage area, wings, backstage area and changing rooms to facilitate professional performances, among other features.
