Medfield's Board of Selectmen Meeting Canceled Due to Winter Storm
Tuesday's Medfield High athletic events also postponed due to winter weather.
Tuesday's Board of Selectmen meeting at has been canceled due to winter weather. The BOS will meet again in two weeks.
The storm has also forced to postpone its scheduled athletic events, according to High School Sports Net. The following events have been postponed:
- Medfield High freshman boys' basketball game vs. Norton, TBA
- Medfield High freshman girls' basketball game at Hopkinton, TBA
- Blake Middle School boys' basketball game vs. Wellesley, TBA
- Medfield High School boys' swimming at Weston, Wednesday, 4 p.m.
- Medfield High School girls' swimming at Weston, Wednesday, 4 p.m.
- Medfield High School boys' JV basketball game vs. Norton, TBA
- Medfield High School girls' JV basketball game at Norton, TBA
- Medfield High School boys' varsity basketball game vs. Norton, TBA
- Medfield High School girls' varsity basketball game at Norton, TBA
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning until 7 tonight.

The snow will become freezing rain between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., then change to rain, the weather service said. The freezing rain could slicken some roads and cause power outages, NWS said and rain could become heavy at times. Visibility may also be difficult during the even commute with patchy fog expected to roll in as well.
About one-quarter to one-half inch of rain is expected overnight.
