Officials in Medfield are currently seeking nominations for the Robert C. Maguire Global Perspectives in Education Award.

The award is named after Maquire, who for more than two decades served in the Medfield Public School system, having served as Medfield High School principal for eight years before moving on to serve as the district's superintendent for 14 years.
