MHS 5th Annual Golden Shoes Dance Competition

Sophomores from Medfield High School dance in front of school judges.

On Friday morning, the last day of school before the winter break, the Medfield High School gymnasium was filled with students watching the sophomore wellness classes dance in front of staff and administrative judges to win this year's Golden Shoes Dance Competition.

Emceed by wellness teacher, Paul Coutino, the sophomores from each class performed.

Each sophomore student learned dance steps, both basic steps and dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Salsa, Swing, Hustle and Merengue in their wellness classes.  Each wellness class chose their two favorite dances and performed them in holiday fashion.
