Medfield School Committee to Recognize Retiring Teachers at Monday's Meeting
A lot of business on Monday's School Committee agenda as it closes out the 2010-2011 school year.
The Committee will hold its last meeting until Aug. 29 Monday night and there is plenty of business to be discussed on the agenda.
First on the agenda is a presentation and recognition to those teachers in the Medfield school system retiring at the end of this school year (2010-2011). Medfield Patch will provide coverage of these presentations on the site throughout the week, beginning on Tuesday.
The School Committee is expected to discuss the following topics: special education end of the year report and pupil services end of the year report. The committee will also hear plans of the High School’s school improvement plan for 2011-12 as well as Blake Middle School’s plan. There will be an update to the fiscal year 2012 budget and a vote to determine School Committee meeting dates for the next school year. The meeting will end with information sharing among committee members.

The Medfield School Committee meets in the TV Production classroom of Medfield High School at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
