Medfield High School Makes 'Best Of' Schools List for State

GoLocal Worcester released its third annual ranking of the best high schools in Massachusetts.

Using propriety test score ranking and school data, GoLocalWorcester released this week its third annual Top High Schools in Massachusetts. 

Medfield High School placed at number 36 on the list, dropping from its position of 31 last year.

Enrollment at the school was 882 for the 2010-2011 school year, and the average SAT score is 1761, while the graduation rate is 99.2 percent, according to statistics gathered by GoLocal.

GoLocalWorcester released a list of the top 100 schools in the state, with Weston High School at the top spot and Pentucket Regional Sr High in West Newbury at number 100.

This past spring, Medfield was ranked the eighth best high school in the state and 185th in the nation, receiving a gold metal rating from the U.S. News & World Report on its annual Best High Schools list.
