Annual Fashion Show Brings Red Carpet Glitz and Glam to Medfield High School

One hundred and ten MHS seniors participated in the 19th annual All Night Graduation Party Fashion Show. The show had a "red carpet" theme and raised approximately $9,000 for the All Night Graduation Party.

senior Jack Moses, 18, is looking forward to his turn at the All Night Graduation Party – when the top floor of the high school is transformed into a drug-free and alcohol-free festival of fun activities for the town’s out-going seniors.

“I am looking forward to it, definitely,” said Moses of the ANGP. “I’ve see one of these put together in the past and how they decorate the school and stuff. It feels so good to finally be a senior and experience that … I am definitely really, really excited.”

Moses was one of the 110 members of the Class of 2012 who participated in this year’s annual fashion show that raised approximately $9,000 toward hosting the ANGP.

“Everything went great this year,” said Rose O’Reilly, who co-hosted the fashion show with Kim Slachta.

The star-studded event, attended by friends and family, had a “red carpet” theme and was hosted by Emcees Ryan Maloney and Gabriel Jacques, both members of the senior class.

Senior boys and girls walked the red carpet to new and classic songs wearing prom attire of new and classic designs.

Dresses were borrowed from Amari, BCBG, Cache, David’s Bridal,
Jessica McClintock, and Maria Lisa Bridal.

Tuxedos were borrowed from DeLux Tux, Jos. A. Bank, Men’s Warehouse, and Read and White in Needham.

The two-plus hour event featured the Tony Awards, Academy Awards, Country Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Emmy Awards, and Grammy Awards.

The emcees introduced each star to the audience and noted their likes, dislikes and plans for the future.

Most models hammed up the red carpet, particularly Jay Latimer, who used his star power to wish his mother a Happy Birthday.

Donations are still being collected for the All Night Graduation Party, said O’Reilly, noting the need for gift cards for prizes and gifts.

Donations can be mailed to ANGP, PO Box 38, Medfield.
