It didn't look to good for the Warriors being down 2-0 with 9 minutes
remaining in the game on  Thursday night, but then the excitement began.

On a perfect feed from Michelle Diggans, Miranda Horan scored a goal on a penalty corner to make the score 2-1.

The rally was on as Medfield increased the pace of the game, then, with four minutes remaining after a furious scramble in front of the net, Colleen Gair got the goal to tie things up.  She was assisted by Senior Captain Tori Brown.

The rally continued as Medfield had a few more chances but fell a little short of
winning. But the Warriors were exhausted as they battled the Wolverines (#9 according to the Boston Globe) to a satisfying tie.

Medfield's defense held the fort as Westwood's attack is a strong one. Lia
Bonfatti, Abby Johnson, Kelsy Chatterton led the Warrior defense and enabled the team to comeback in the second half. Also playing well for Medfield was Caroline Tschirch at midfield and Carrie Cook in the net. Carrie made some crucial saves in the final few minutes.

The game was a hectic battle right from the beginning - back and forth runs down the field. Medfield is now 4-4-3 overall as they head into the long weekend.
