Medfield 2nd Grader Named State Grade-Level Winner in National Handwriting Contest

Max Gobin, a second grade student at Medfield's Ralph Wheelock Elementary School was recently named a public school state grade-level winner in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest.

Gobin has been named a Massachusetts public school grade-level winner in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest. Over 325,000 students in grades one through eight participated in this year’s contest. From this pool, two grade-level winners were chosen from each state, one from public school and one from private school.

Gobin was awarded an engraved Zaner-Bloser State winner medallion and his teacher received an engraved a rosewood box and pen. In addition, the Wheelock School received a $200 redeemable Zaner-Bloser coupon.
