MCPE is a volunteer organization overseen by a group of 16 parents (known as the board), all of whom have kids in the Medfield Public Schools. Its primary focus is to raise funds for Medfield schools in support of academic enrichment. All money raised is distributed directly to teachers, staff, and administrators through a grant application process. The board meets monthly to review and vote on submitted applications for initiatives such as technology purchases, literacy support, and performing arts programs.
