Blake Tyler Brown of Medfield will be sworn onto the Council at the State House.

Today, Governor Deval Patrick will swear in Medfield's Blake Tyler Brown to sit on his statewide Youth Council.

The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on the Grand Staircase of the State House.

Members were selected by an application review committee for their excellence in leadership and their outstanding potential to create change in their communities and range from ages 14-20.

The preceding was taken from a press release provided by the State House.

What a great honor for an amazing kid who clearly is one of the best and the brightest to represent MHS at the state level. He will make Medfield very proud and be an articulate spokesperson for Medfield's youth, Clearly leadership abilities in his future. Congrats Blake!
