Kinch, Shapiro and Morin to Retire from Medfield High School

Terry Kinch, Richard Shapiro, and Donna Morin will retire at the end of this school year.

Medfield High School Principal Robert Parga wrote the following in the latest MHS newsletter regarding three high school teachers who will retire this year.

This year, three members of the Medfield High School faculty have decided to retire from teaching. These three individuals in their own ways have made a positive impact on thousands of students who have attended the Medfield Public Schools.

I know you join with me in thanking Mr. Terry Kinch, Mrs. Donna Morin, and Mr. Richard Shapiro for their years of service.

Terry Kinch – 24 years teaching in Medfield. During his teaching career, Mr. Kinch taught primarily in the business and technology departments. In addition, he worked in the science department teaching marine science and forensics. Mr. Kinch’s work across several departments gave him a unique perspective on the students of Medfield High School.

Richard Shapiro – 32 years teaching in Medfield. Mr. Shapiro and physics have become synonymous. During his years at MHS, Mr. Shapiro helped build a physics program that inspired students to enter the field of science.
