Historic Comeback for Big Blue

MHS Boys Basketball Team captures a 58-55 win at Bellingham.

On Tuesday, Medfield High School's Big Blue Basketball team made an historic comeback in a game against Bellingham.

Down by 26 points in the first half, the Medfield Boys Big Blue stormed back and captured a 58-55 win at Bellingham.

It certainly was a tale of two halves.  

Bellingham shot the lights out in the first half, hitting eight three-point shots. Down 38-13 at the half, the Big Blue came out and outscored Bellingham 31-4 in the third quarter to capture the lead.

Drew Shea led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points, Matt Pembroke had 13, Remy Fragola had 12, and John Zimmerman had 10.    

The team improves to 12-6 for the year.  

Friday night will be the team's Senior Night as they close the league season against Ashland.  Tipoff is at 5 p.m.
