Four Retiring Teachers Have 80 Combined Years of Experience
Four teachers with years of experience from 10 to 32, were recognized by the School Committee on June 17.
Together, they have 80 years of teaching experience.
At the end of this month, the following teachers will retire from the Medfield School System:

- Ellen McConnell, 8th Grade English (20 years)
- Richard Shapiro, High School Physics (32 years)
- Barbara Sullivan, 6th Grade Learning Center (10 years)
- Diane Zaia, 8th Grade Physical Science (17.5 years)
On Monday, the Medfield School Committee presented these teachers with plaques in recognition of their many years of service. McConnell and Zaia were present to accept their award.
