Field Hockey Team Visits Former Medfield MVP at Bentley

Members of the Medfield Field Hockey team, along with their coaches, visited former MHS field hockey MVP, Beth Maguire at Bentley University where she is currently a senior.

Medfield High School graduate Beth Maguire is a senior at Bentley College where she is on the field hockey team.

On Saturday, members of the current MHS field hockey team, together with their coaches Mike Mason and Sue Pratt, visited the college to watch Maguire play in the Bentley/Assumption game as part of the school's Senior Day celebration.

Maguire is a senior and also the Bentley Falcons' leading scorer.  She currently has 8 goals and 4 assists for the season. This also brings her total to 25 career goals and 10 assists.

When Beth Maguire played on the Medfield High School field hockey team, she was MVP and the leading scorer in the Tri-Valley League as a senior.

She served as captain of both the field hockey and lacrosse teams, was a two-time Tri-Valley League all-star, played in Best of 60 field hockey game, received the Thomas A. Reis Senior Athlete Sportsmanship Award, and also lettered in ice hockey.
