Field Hockey and Girls Basketball Summer Clinics

Two summer clinics offered by the Adult Education / Intramural programs finished up this week.

Mike Mason, MHS Varsity Field Hockey Coach and Grade 5 Dale Street School teacher, ran two summer sports clinics this month.

Approximately 20 girls took part in the annual Medfield Field Hockey Clinic on the Medfield High School turf this past week and a similar number of girls took part in the annual Girls basketball clinic held at Wheelock School the week before.

Players attending the field hockey clinic ranged from grades 5 to 9 and the clinic was open to Medfield residents as well as students from surrounding towns.

The clinics are offered each summer through the Adult Education / Intramural program through the Town of Medfield.  Mason hopes to continue running these clinics every summer.

This year he was assisted by Meaghan Sullivan, former Medfield student athlete and current teacher at Framingham High School.
