Teen Job Fair and Panel Discussion at Library

Teens and Parents are invited to a free "Teens In the Workforce" panel and job fair sponsored by the Library’s Business and Job Resource Center.

From 3-4 p.m. learn what it takes to get a job in a competitive job market.  Panelists will include:

• Theresa Campbell of Speak Well, Stand Out will address the do’s and don’ts of interviewing and ways to improve public speaking skills.

• Vera Kelsey-Watts of The Food Project will talk about the opportunities for employment and leadership that are available through the Food Project’s summer program.

• Stephen Krawec of the Medfield Public Library will present his experiences as a teen employed in a variety of positions ranging from retail to self-employment

From 4-5 p.m., local employers will be available to talk with teens about the types of jobs that are held by teens in their organization and what to expect during the application process.

This is a great opportunity for teens in Medfield and the surrounding area to network with local businesses and discover summer, weekend, or after-school jobs.
