Nature's Tiny Treasures at Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary

Our preschool outreach educator, Jessica Watson, offers a fun-filled hour and half of outdoor exploration, experimentation and indoor play to help illustrate the treasures to be found in our natural world. Perfect for homeschoolers or a child’s day off from preschool, this class will provide your preschooler with a solid science-based curriculum in line with popular early childhood education standards. A typical class includes song, puppetry, book reading, gross motor movement play, craft and a nature walk. Please make sure to bring appropiate clothing for the winter’s walk. Drop-off program, but parents welcome.
