Eric Scott has been named as the new Athletic Director at Medfield High School.
He will take over for Jon Kirby who announced his retirement in June.
Scott had been the athletic director at Ashland High School for the last two years. His background includes teaching, coaching and athletic training. He stared with the district on August 1.
“He is highly regarded by his colleagues for his hard work and commitment to his student-athletes,” said MHS Principal Robert Parga in an email on Monday. “Mr. Scott’s familiarity with the Tri-Valley League and experience in this role make him a great fit for Medfield.”
“We’re pleased to have Eric on board,” said Superintendent of Schools Bob Maguire. “He’s very knowledgeable of the Tri-Valley League; he’s experienced and we’re fortunate and excited to have him.”
