The fourth grade completed a “Be Wise While Playing In the Sun” unit in Health Education.  For the past eight years, students have used their knowledge about sun safety and have drawn public service announcement posters for the SHADE Foundation’s contest.

This is the first year Dale Street had a student chosen as the Massachusetts’ top poster winner, and as a finalist for the National Award; and although her poster was not chosen for the National Award, Dale Street School’s faculty and students believe she is a true winner with her creative portrayal of sun safety tips.
