Blake Student to Participate in Statewide Day of Service

Medfield eighth grade student Mike Foley will represent Medfield at "Project 351" in Boston.

Medfield's Mike Foley, has been chosen to participate in Governor Deval Patrick's "Project 351" community service project on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.

"I am thrilled to announce that Mike Foley, one of our eighth grade students, has been selected as Medfield's ambassador for Project 351," said Nathaniel Vaughn, Principal of Blake Middle School where Foley is a student.

"Ambassadors should embody the ethic of service and associated values -- humility, integrity, compassion, commitment, and generosity of spirit.  In essence, Project 351 celebrates and encourages students' leadership and commitment to others," Vaughn said. "We are proud and honored that Mike will be representing Blake and the community of Medfield."
