What’s Closed in Medfield on Labor Day?

Find out what's open and closed for today's holiday.

While it would be inaccurate to say that Medfield becomes a ghost town throughout Labor Day weekend, it certainly will resemble a shell of its usual self on Monday.

Most people are aware that the governmental establishments (Town Hall, Post Office, etc.) are closed and that kids get a day off from school, but you may want to call ahead at your favorite restaurant to see if they are indeed open today. Usual spots like the supermarkets and gas stations will be open for business, but some places, like shops on Main and North Streets, may be closing early.

If you are looking to travel today, keep in mind that Labor Day is one of the few days of the year that the MBTA runs no service.
