Voters Approve Medfield State Hospital Articles at Special Town Meeting
The matter will now go to a special election on March 31.
Attendees of a Special Town Meeting in Medfield Monday voted in favor of the town purchasing parcels of the Medfield State Hospital land.
All three articles passed Monday night with near unanimous support, according to MSH Vision, which added that the next process will be a vote in the special election on March 31.
"Registered voters must take this second step and cast a vote to complete this process of purchasing the Medfield State Hospital parcels," Medfield Patch blogger Colleen Sullivan wrote in a post Tuesday.

Medfield Town Moderator Scott F. McDermott issued a thanks to attendees of the Special Town Meeting on the Medfield02052 Blog Tuesday:
