Tax Rate to be Set Tonight for FY15
The Board of Selectmen and Board of Assessors will hold a tax classification hearing tonight at 7 p.m.
The Board of Selectmen and the Board of Assessors will hold a tax classification hearing tonight (Nov. 25, 2013) at 7 p.m. in the Chenery Room of Town Hall.
The purpose of the hearing is to set the tax rate for the next fiscal year (July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015).
The tax rate for FY13 and FY14 held steady at $15.73 per $1,000 valuation.
Other items on the selectmen's agenda include:
- 7:30 p.m., meeting with the Board of Assessors regarding their proposed FY15 budget
- Vote to sign Phase IV Special Project Designation Area & Power Plant Area Groundwater Remedy Implementation Plan to be mailed to DCAMM
- Vote to sign Amendment No. 1 for the town garage project
