Selectmen to Meet Today: Agenda Includes Discussion of Naughton Square

The Board of Selectmen will meet in the Chenery Room at the Town House at 7 p.m. tonight.  The agenda includes: 

Appointments

• 7 p.m, Richard DeSorgher with the Committee to Study Memorials to discuss plans to replace markers, and to give the Board an update on the Naughton Civic Square to be dedicated on Sept. 29. 

Action

• Jean Mineo of the Medfield Cultural Council asks selectmen to appoint new Cultural Council members.
• Letter of Resignation for Board of Health member Ann Fryer 

Licenses and Permits

• Medfield Lions Club requests permission to post signs from Oct. 27 to Nov. 10 promoting the annual ChowderFest to be held on Nov. 10 at The Center at Medfield. 

Informational

• Norfolk County Registry of Deeds will hold office hours at the Medfield Town House on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.
• Copy of Historical Commission letter regarding the demolition of 56-60 Harding Street.
