Selectmen Agenda: Warrant Hearing, Veterans' Services and Lowell Mason House

The Medfield Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall.

The Medfield Board of Selectmen are expected to open Tuesday's meeting with a visit from Medfield veterans' service office Rob Griffin to discuss the fiscal year 2013 veterans' services budget.

The selectmen are expected to take action on several items before the Warrant Committee holds its annual Town Warrant Hearing at 7:30 p.m. Those items are:

  • Insurance Advisory Committee recommends the selectmen vote to allow retirees to re-enroll in the town's health insurance program, showing evidence of continuous coverage from the time of their retirement.
  • The Lowell Mason Foundation requests the selectmen vote to accept their gift of the Lowell Mason House to the town.

The selectmen are expected to vote on the following town licenses and permits:

  • The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House requests permission to close off a section of Frairy Street on Saturday, May 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. for their fundraising gala.

The selectmen will also be updated on the Medfield State Hospital property with a discussion of the March 22 PIP meeting being held in Town Hall with DCAM from 7 to 9 p.m.
