Selectmen Agenda: Updates on State Hospital, Swap Area Volunteers

The Medfield Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall. The public is invited to attend.

The Medfield Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday and are expected to hear updates on the and volunteers interested in helping out at the Swap Area of the Transfer Station among other town business. Town Administrator Michael Sullivan will report on the Aug. 5 meeting held with DCAM on environmental issues at the state hospital site. There will also be an update from the Aug. 11 PIP meeting.

Other items on the agenda:

  • Selectmen will take action and vote on the election procedures for elected municipal seats on the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)
  • Selectmen will review the proposed selectmen’s calendar for the upcoming budget season.
  • The following information will be shared among selectmen: Letter from the MIIA regarding retiree health benefits; Town of Medfield FY2011 trust fund information; Copy of Conservation Commission decisions; Copy of letter to Masters Touch, denial of special permit for recycling at the MTS; Quarterly report of reconciliation of treasure’s cash, June 30; Copy of certification letter from Zullo Gallery regarding capacity of Aug. 11 and Aug. 17.

The Medfield Board of Selectmen meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Chenery Meeting Room on the second floor of Town Hall at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and is broadcasted on local cable access
