Selectmen Agenda: Parks and Rec Budget and State Hospital Update
The Medfield Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall.
The Medfield Board of Selectmen are expected to open Tuesday's meeting with a visit from the Medfield Parks and Recreation Commissioners to discuss and review its proposed fiscal year 2013 budget. The commissioners are also expected to request selectmen vote to call a Special Election to fill the vacancy in their board.
That vacancy, according to a letter selectmen will review and take action on Tuesday, is a result of Parks and Recreation Commissioner Lisa Louttit's resignation.
Other items the selectmen are expected to take action on Tuesday:

- Norfolk County Mosquito Control District requests Medfield's support for its proposed fiscal year 2013 budget and requests permission to land at the town's landfill site for annual larvicide applications.
- Medfield Police Chief Robert E. Meaney Jr. requests the selectmen vote to abate police detail invoices.
- Selectmen will vote to open the 2012 Town Warrant to delete two articles and add one additional pertaining to flood maps.
Selectmen are expected to vote on the following licenses and permits:
- Council on Aging requests a one-day wine and malt beverage permit for March 17, Saint Patrick's Day event from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Center.
- The Gazebo Players request a one-day wine and malt beverage permit for the "Murder Mystery Evening" at the library on March 31 from 7 to 10 p.m.
There will also be an update on the Medfield State Hospital site as well as a notification and discussion about the town's PIP meeting with DCAM on March 8 being postponed to March 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Town Hall.
