Poll: What to Do With Rising Cost of College Tuition?
Does the government need to step in and do something about the rising price of college tuition?
President Obama's budget plan outlines an initiative to rein in the cost of college tuition, which he says is too high.
His plan would not subsidize colleges that continue to raise the price of tuition.
The federal government, he said, “can’t just keep on subsidizing skyrocketing tuition,’’ which has roughly doubled the pace of inflation in recent years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
