Peterson: Consultant Hired for 40B and Medfield State Hospital

Medfield Board of Selectmen chair Osler "Pete" Peterson posted on his blog Thursday that the town has "retained" Judi Barrett as consultant on 40B and Medfield State Hospital issues.

Kristine Trierweiler, Medfield Assistant Town Administrator, notified Medfield Board of Selectmen chair Osler "Pete" Peterson that the town of Medfield has retained Judi Barret as its consultant on 40B and Medfield State Hospital issues.  

"Judi Barrett and the firm she works for, Community Opportunities Group, are very interested in assisting the town in the review of the 40B and will attend the meeting with Gatehouse," Trierweiler e-mailed to Peterson. ... "I have also had discussions with her firm regarding assistance with the feasibility study/impact analysis review of the State Hospital project and they are interested in consulting with us on that as well."

In a March 14 blog post, Peterson announced the town had scheduled a meeting with . Peterson said it was not an open public meeting and its purpose is to begin a "working discussion between parties whose interests have clearly intersected."

The meeting is expected to take place next week.
