Norfolk County Mosquito Control to Talk About Changes to Spraying Tonight
The NCMC Director will talk about changes to the program including the time of day when spraying will now take place.
The Medfield Board of Health will host a public information night tonight, Tuesday, March 12, regarding changes to the application process used by the Norfolk County Mosquito Control Program.
Program Director David Lawson will start the presentation -- Changes to the ULV Aerosol Spraying Program -- at 7 p.m. in the Chenery Room at Town Hall.

One of the most notable changes to be implemented is the time of spraying. Traditionally done during the overnight hours, it will now be done in the evening.
"They are trying to use their resources more efficiently," said Nancy Bennotti with the Board of Health. "Operating earlier is more effective with regard to the number of mosquitoes and the efficacy of the product used."
